Training with Paul Meilhat from SMA

Cracking conditions this week for training with Pôle Finistère Course au Large I was lucky enough to have Paul Meilhat from SMAVoile to train with me double handed on the figaro.

A week of training and racing, Needless to say i learn a huge amount from Paul as he himself has been a top runner in the figaro class before taking the helm of his Imoca 60.

Here is a small clip of Us gybing from VMG down wind to a tight rech. Preperation is key, when you are short handed things take time and its not possible to do everything at once!
